Goede Hoop Wine Estate is situated deep in a Stellenbosch valley known as the Bottelary Kloof. The estate is an absolute hidden gem in the industry. In 1928 the Bestbier family purchased the wine estate and today Pieter Bestbier is a third-generation winemaker on Goede Hoop. With a focus on ageing and cellaring to perfection, cellar master Pieter Bestbier maintains constant humidity and temperatures to create and maintain the perfect environment for wines to develop. The wines coming from the cellar are well structured and have years in them to further mature. Although released to be drunk, you can hold onto the bottles for another 5 plus years. A 2019 Gold winner at both the Veritas and Michaelangelo International wine and spirits awards.
It's a little bit of a paradox, as 2020 was probably the first year in everyone's collective lives that we can all agree sucked.
The last time humanity was this united against a year was in 1999 when we all thought Y2K would see the rise of the robots.
Still, despite everything, some pretty good things did happen in 2020:
We sold this deal. And this deal. Sold this deal too. And. This. Deal.
And they're back for one more day - the very best deals of 2020.
