Since the 1980s, The Pogues have been fusing the tropes and melodies of traditional Irish folk music to the energy of punk rock. And now, we’ve captured the mutinous soul and passion of The Pogues in a whiskey that’s as full of character as the band itself. Launched in 2015, and produced by West Cork Distillers in Ireland’s rugged coastal spot, Skibbereen, The official Irish whiskey of the legendary band, The Pogues is a blend of 50% 10-year single malt Irish whiskey finished in sherry casks, and 50% 5-7 year Irish grain whiskey aged in ex-bourbon barrels.

- The grain, maturation, cask selection and the blend has been entirely chosen and approved by all the band members, the liquid crafted in small batches in handmade copper stills and aged for three years and a day.
- It is sweet and intense with notes of malt and cracked nuts.
- Strong malt, citrus, and cracked black pepper greet you on the nose which carries onto the palate, leading to a sweet finish with a hint of nutmeg.
