An InSinkErator food waste disposer is fitted under most domestic sinks, connected to the wastewater outlet. InSinkErator food waste disposers are perfectly safe and don't have blades or knives. Food waste is fed into the food waste disposer with cold water and the waste is ground down into small particles which flush easily through the wastewater system to wastewater treatment plants.

Instead of rotting in your home, food waste can be ground in your disposer and sent to wastewater treatment plants where it can yield valuable biogas and other vital soil nutrients.

Product Features

• Fitted quickly and discreetly to your kitchen sink, the InSinkErator Model 66 is the perfect waste disposal option for large households, quietly grinding away most scraps in seconds. A cleaner alternative to the food waste caddy.
• The Model 66 has a 980 ml grind chamber and uses powerful grind technology to crush most food waste into tiny particles. Fibrous materials such as banana peel are not recommended.
• With the Model 66, your kitchen entertainment won’t be disturbed by a noisy disposer. The induction motor is 20% quieter than standard models for undisruptive functionality.
• Run the cold water tap and turn on the InSinkErator air switch/wall switch. There are no knives or blades in the disposer, so you can feed in food scraps with your hands. The ground food waste is flushed through your existing plumbing.
