When we think boat shoe, we think summer – going to the beach, afternoons with friends or if you’re lucky, sundowners on a boat. We like them because they look better than flip-flops and nearly as comfortable and easy to throw on.
Somewhat of a footwear chameleon, boat shoes are easy to dress up or down. When styling your look, think of them as a subtle counterpart to the rest of your outfit. We prefer them as their best versions of themselves – the originals. Think: Neutral leather, moccasin-style upper with rugged laces and a slip-proof rubber sole.

The latter is the harder of the two, because A) we haven't met everyone in the R of SA and 2) our personal tastes can hardly be used as a benchmark for things other people may enjoy.
