Note: All the leather in these sandals has been tanned using an innovative process which involves no chromium salts, heavy metals or dangerous acids (approx. 85% of the world's leather is chrome-tanned). This process is complex and requires high-quality leather, but it creates less pollution, cleaner water streams, and, after tanning, the water used can be recycled. Another step toward our goal of creating more sustainable footwear.
