Get in on the hoop!

Aah, the humble hula-hoop. That diabolical plastic ring from our childhoods that we all tried, over and over, to get right. You'd put it around your waist, then thrash around like you were having an allergic reaction to shellfish, and feel a sense of defeat as it fell to the ground.

Some kids, like Sandra, were really, really good at it - but instead of clapping for her, we'd get super jealous and assume that, one day, she'd amount to nothing more than an exotic dancer. Oof, talk about being salty!
