Research has shown that the secret to infant visual stimulation lies in high-contrast colors. These are high-contrast cards for you to use around your home to provide that important visual input. You might like to place these cards on the wall next to your change table or your safe play space so that babies can view the images and strengthen their eyes. You’ll be amazed at how long your baby will look at the images! Ideally, you should place the cards within 20-30cm from your baby as they can’t focus much further than that. These infant stimulation flashcards will help calm and soothe your baby as well as increase concentration skills, enhance natural curiosity, and stimulate the creation of brain cell connections. These cards come in packs for 0-3 months, 3-6 months, and 6-12 months.
...what provides the inspiration for these write ups, today's your lucky day. You're about to find out.
99% of the time it's the products. Unsurprising. But also so very corporate and predictable. And we hate that. So once in a while we like to draw our creativity from elsewhere, such as:
If E is the most common letter in the English alphabet, why is it so particular? Surely it should've been shaped like an I, just a single straight line? It seems excessive to have to draw the extra three horizontal lines, when really it could've been avoided.
If you know the answer, as in really truly know, please write to us at EisshapedlikeEbecause@onedayonly.co.za
Otherwise enjoy thinking about that too for the next three or so years.
