About

A simpler version of the Khal Mohammedi, the Afghan Aaqcha is a highly coveted collection, and offers an entry-level price point within the Oriental rug family.

Derived from regions in Northern Afghanistan, these hand knotted Oriental rugs are often expressed in hues of red with its signature göls (elephant like pattern) and octagonal repeating motifs, woven using a combination of wool, goat hair and horsehair.

These large elephant foot patterns create a unique and individual design, with no two designs being the same. This level of uniqueness, combined with their softness of feel, makes these rugs a firm favourite with homeowners and collectors alike.

Please Note: The various sizes of these rugs are due to the rugs being hand woven.

You won't see any deal with a saving less than 50% today

We've done this a few times and it always seems to go over well. Why wouldn't it? You're getting some serious bang for your buck (as the saying goes), and we're using the profits to stock our offices with fancy coffee.

Win win.

It does leave us horribly short on the word count for this here write up, though. Explaining how a 50% discount works doesn't exactly require your undivided attention.

So instead we'll hit you with this little-known fact: Movie trailers are called "trailers" because they used to be shown at the end of the movies, not before. Eventually common sense prevailed, but the name stuck.

Knowledge!
