About

Traditional incandescent candle bulbs consume between 25W and 50W. When grouped on chandeliers or other decorative fittings, it is incredible at how quickly the consumption and related energy charges increase.

Robus has created an excellent warm white candle bulb with the three most common bases in our country. along with that, they have included dimming and non-dimming options (please check with installers on dimmer unit compatibility and optimisation for your home).

Their design includes a clever perspex refractor that disperses the one-directional LED light into 260 degrees. This still creates the impression of a ‘candle’ effect without ugly LED chips scattered all over the inside of your bulb.

Available at incredible value-for-money whilst stocks last, these replacement lamps offer immediate energy savings on your home electricity bills – a cost that is continually escalating.

Put a Sock In It.

Did you know that the sock was invented by David John Sockington the First? DJ, as he was known to his friends, was a 15th-century opera enthusiast and poet.

The "foot mitten," as DJ called it, was invented in response to the terrible blisters he got from wearing sandals while lounging around his chateau. "Dear Diary, these blisters are the bane of my existence," he wrote.

On the verge of a nervous breakdown, DJ asked his servant to knit him a pair of "foot mittens." DJ's friends were so impressed when they saw him wearing them that they begged for pairs of their own. The only thing that didn't catch on was the name, which was dropped and replaced with DJ's nickname: socks.

This is not exactly how socks were invented; it's entirely made up. But here's a fact: we are running a deal on Balega Running Socks, and it's not to be missed!
