Product Features

Pinotage 2022

• Awards: Grand Gold Certificate of Excellence South African Wine Index, Gold Wine Award.
• The wine is matured in American oak for up to 8 months.
• The wine has an intense black cherry colour with a youthful ruby colour towards the rim. 
• Bouquet and palate are dominated with juicy, plum and ripe black cherry character with hints of liquorice and sweet vanilla. 
• This wine has a seamless tannin structure and is well-balanced with subtle hints of berry fruit and vanilla following through on the palate. 
• Ready to enjoy now but can mature for 4 to 5 years.
• Serve with sushi or seared tuna, a creamy curry containing coconut, most red meats and well-matured gouda or cheddar cheese.
• Alcohol by Volume: 13.5%

Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

• Awards: Gold Vitis Vinifera.
• Matured in French oak for up to eight months prior to bottling.
• Intense and near-opaque with a dark-ruby centre and magenta rim, this wine’s nose is bursting with notes of ripe blackberry, cassis and hints of warm spice. 
• Full-bodied and firm, its velvety tannins are well-balanced with opulent fruit flavours. 
• Delicious to drink right away, this wine has a maturation potential of at least five years.
• This wine is ideal for enjoying with red meats such as rare roast beef and venison pie.
• Alcohol by Volume: 12.9%

Shiraz 2022

• This is a new vintage that has not been rated yet.
• Previous vintage awards: Gold Michelangelo, Gold Vitis Vinifera, Gold at the Gold Wine Awards.
• Matured in American oak.
• This wine has a youthful ruby hue.
• It is medium-bodied with intense and rich aromas of ripe dark fruit like plums and mulberries and exhibits notes of pepper, savoury spice, hints of eucalyptus and sweet vanilla.
• Quite succulent with a fresh acidity and modest tannin, all beautifully integrated with the fruit, giving the wine a subtlety and elegance rarely found in New World wines.
• Ideal with any red meat, but will pair very well with a mushroom risotto or pasta with a ham and mushroom sauce or can be served with hard cheese such as Huguenot or mature gouda and cheddar.
• Alcohol by Volume: 13.7%

Merlot 2022

• This is a new vintage that has not been rated yet. 
• Previous vintage awards: Gold Wine Awards - Excellent Wine at the Price, Gold Ultra Value Wine.
• The wine was matured in French oak for 8 months prior to bottling.
• The wine is a masterful balancing act of fruit, oak and tannin.
• Intense aromas of delicious ripe black fruit, like black cherries and plums, with a hint of chocolate and mixed spice. 
• The palate is broad and deep with firm tannins that are well-integrated and velvety, backed by the ripe fruit which follows through and continues to linger on the palate.
• Ready for immediate drinking, but will benefit from 2-4 years of cellaring.
• Serve with roast lamb or duck, but can be enjoyed with a range of meat and pasta dishes.
• Alcohol by Volume: 13%
