The name De Wetshof has been synonymous with the production of fine wines in South Africa since the 1970s. As the first registered wine estate in the Robertson Wine Valley, De Wetshof has become known internationally as South Africa’s eminent Chardonnay House due to the pioneering role it played in introducing this noble Burgundian grape to the country.

- Rocky, gravelly mountain soils rich in limestone with a significant amount of clay to assist in the water-retention capacity helps the vines to develop fruit with strong citrus flavors and a characteristic nuttiness on the mid-palate and finish.
- The oak enhances the nutty and citrus fruit flavours.
- Enjoy with meaty fish such as cod, halibut, or salmon, or pair with shellfish such as prawns and lobster.
