DEXADERM™ Baby Nappy Rash Ointment for sensitive skin can be used for the management and prevention of nappy rash in both babies and adults.
Product Features
- Nappy rash is the term applied to skin rashes in the nappy area. The rash can be red and painful.
- For sensitive skin
- Dexaderm contains dexpanthenol (D-panthenol), the precursor of vitamin B5. Dexpanthenol has moisturising properties and when used in skin preparations it acts as a humectant (a substance that absorbs or helps retain moisture), an emollient (a substance that softens or soothes the skin) and a moisturiser (a substance that makes the external layers of the skin softer and more pliable).

- Also for nursing mothers with cracked or sore nipples

- Ingredients: Dexpanthenol, aqua, glycerine, lanolin anhydrous, cetyl alcohol, glyceryl mono stearate, paraffinum liquidum, ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, polysorbate 60, phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin, polysorbate 20.
- How to apply:
- For nappy rash:
- Apply DexaDerm™ directly to the affected area.
- Always carefully clean and dry the affected area thoroughly before applying DexaDerm™.
- Apply at each nappy change.
- For sore and cracked nipples:
- Nursing mothers can apply DexaDerm™ to the nipples after each breastfeed. Gently rub the ointment in until it is evenly distributed. Be sure to remove residual ointment before the next feed.
- Wash your hands immediately after using DexaDerm™.
