This basket is hand woven in Malawi using natural palm which grows in abundance in this beautiful country. Flat palm leaf strips woven into an elegant tiered look make the Katondo Oval just as regal as our leading lady, the Katondo. Reed coils tightly bound in palm leaf strips give this basket a hardy base.
Due to the handmade nature of the product, each basket will vary in size. Natural materials are used in the making of this product therefore color variations can be expected from basket to basket.
