This intelligent light bulb uses a 2200mAh built in lithium battery to store charge from an electric socket where it is installed. Once loadshedding strikes while the light is on, the light bulb automatically switches over to its own battery to continue providing light as per normal. No need to do anything more.
With a 4 hour charging time, this energy efficient light bulb can be controlled at the usual light switch even during loadshedding.
