Fun fact time! Love 'em or hate 'em (it always seems there is no in-between when it comes to this one), but cats are pretty awesome animals. Did you know that cats don't really meow to one another, but rather only do it as a means to 'speak' to us lesser humans? They were worshipped in Ancient Egypt, where the name for them was quite literally 'mau'.

Cats cannot taste anything sweet (shame), they have 'thumbs' on their front paws but not their hind ones, and the pads beneath their toes are actually called 'toe beans'. How cute is that?
