On 31 December 2024, Cape Town will host South Africa's largest New Year's Eve Music Festival, Secrets of Summer. Located just five minutes from the CBD, this event is set to elevate the festival experience to unprecedented heights. Starting at 2 PM and running until 3 AM, the festival, powered by 5FM, promises a truly unique experience as the biggest NYE show in SA. For the first time in SA history, a coliseum-designed main stage will accommodate up to 13,000 people at one time, setting a new standard for festival landscapes in our city. The event will feature South Africa’s leading artists and A-list international acts across three electrifying dance floors. Last year, a record-breaking crowd of 12,000 attendees celebrated the New Year with us.
Our lineup will be announced on 1 July and is set to blow you away. Previous acts that have played at Secrets of Summer include G-Eazy, Sophie Francis, Faithless, Shapeless, Groove Delight, Goldfish, Vini Vici, Neelix, Zakes Bantwini, Karyendasoul, NAAK, Culoe De Song, Sun-El Musician, Timo ODV, Matthew Mole, Nadia Nakai, Pierre Johnson, and many more.
