How Upstanding!
Us humans are funny things. As kids, getting us to sit down and stay still was a difficult task for parents and teachers alike. When we were teenagers, sitting or lying around the house was our favourite thing to do, and standing up was something our parents and teachers begged us to do. Sometimes it was even a form of punishment!
Now that we're adults, standing up is 'in' again. Just think of Janice's new standing desk she had approved by HR. Her back problems are gone. Greg in finance says that standing and eating at the dinner table has helped with his indigestion. And Joshua, the in-office boet, says that canoes and kayaks are 'so last summer', and Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Boards like the one we have a deal on from StormFox, will be the hobby of Summer 2024.
