About

Bushveld Bivouac is a beautifully designed, fully serviced, off-the-grid bush camp on an easily accessible game farm with a wide range of plains game from zebra, giraffe, and antelope, to porcupine, caracal, civet, serval, and occasionally leopard and hyena that wander through the reserve. Located halfway between Hoedspruit and Phalaborwa, the farm lies just 40 minutes from the world-famous Kruger Park’s Phalaborwa gate to the north, a bit over an hour’s drive from Orpen Gate to the south, and close to numerous other extraordinary destinations.

Look out over the northernmost point of the Drakensberg while sipping a G&T in the pool at Dragon Rock; lose yourself in your thoughts and the endless bush vista under the marula tree at Marula; revel in the multi-story “treehouse” of Seringa or ponder the history of the Ga-Mashishi Mountains from the heights of Lillie.
