The wine has a deep, dark red colour. Aromas of plums and wild berry greet you on the nose along with hints of nutmeg.
Aging Potential
This vintage can be enjoyed up to 2017, but will reach its best drinking potential toward the end of 2015.
Tasting Notes
A bright, deep red wine showing upfront flavours of plum and blackberry fruit with hints of pepper spice, cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon with a wild berry core and undertones of sweet vanilla pod.
Food Suggestions:
A wine that can be enjoyed with a whole range of dishes from meat on the barbeque to more hearty stews or even just with a beef sandwich for lunch.
In the Cellar
Wood: Matured in varying ages of 300L French Oak barrels for up to 12 months.
