What’s the difference between down and feathers when it comes to duvet fillings?

Down filling is soft and fluffy under plumage that provides excellent insulation and regulates to your body temperature beautifully. A duvet with a high percentage of down is soft, light and  warm yet it won’t make you sweat. Essentially Goose Down and especially Hungarian Goose Down is the best, most luxurious duvet filling there is.

Feathers are not the same as down. They are stalky, hard and heavier than down. They don’t regulate your body temperature like down does so a feather duvet may make you sweat.
