About

Land’s End is surely one of the best-known brands to come from Elim. It was also one of the first, with Land’s End vines planted in Elim in 1996. Four years later, the first wine of origin Elim was released: a Land’s End Sauvignon blanc. Today Land’s End is produced by Du Toitskloof Winery in Rawsonville – using the grapes from Elim’s cool-climate region.

The cool maritime climate of the tip of Africa, tempers the vineyards to produce delicious wines that reflect the uniqueness of the region.

Tasting Notes

This classic wine exudes a bouquet of wild tropical fruit, intermingled with hints of flint and freshly picked herbs. These flavours lead to a luscious mouth filling palate of ripe kiwi fruit and Cape gooseberry with a long mineral finish.

Food Suggestions

Enjoy with crayfish, oysters or sautéed asparagus spears.

We're drawing a blanc here

Wine Wednesdays are great for sales, but they wreak havoc on our ability to produce write ups worthy of gracing the pages of OneDayOnly.

The first few times was a walk in the park, but with every new wine deal we edge closer towards offering post-Sixth-Sense-M-Night-Shyamalan style writing.

And nobody wants that.

So instead we'll point out the main benefit of buying the Land's End sauvignon blanc: it's the ideal wine for sharing with friends and family.

Also, if you happen to realllly love wine and just want six bottles to yourself, it's virtually perfect for that too.
