Tasting Notes
Clean and clear, soft yellow. The colour of lemon segments. Relatively soft nose, very under-stated and elegant with some wax, neutral flowers and peach fuzz. After a little while longer, we can coax out some lemon and under-ripe green melon. We are really impressed with great, mouth-puckering acidity, creating a fresh and zippy winel. Transitioning from tart green apples at the tip of the tongue, becoming fleshier as it travels back across the palate. There are more tropical fruits and green melon then a finish that has a touch of sweetness.
Enough acidity to handle a salad, but some body and weight to partner with a lean protein. Try a grilled chicken salad!
