The Samsung SmartCam PT is designed to help you stay connected to your home wherever you are. It gives you the ability to watch your pets and children, or check to see if everything is safe and sound through your smartphone and tablet. The Pan and Tilt feature gives you full visibility of your home with a 350° pan and 155° tilt, along with a 96° field of view. It also offers 16 ft. of night vision, providing you with an exceptional view of your home, day and night. Motion Zone Select ensures you are receiving real-time alerts of activities in selected areas, making it easier for you to stay connected to your home. • Pan/ Tilt: The remote Pan/Tilt feature increases the visibility of your home from any angle. It is crafted so you can easily monitor your home from your smartphone without any blind spots. The camera remotely pans 350° and tilts 155°. With a wider and better coverage, you’ll be able to see more than ever.
• 1080p Full HD resolution: The 1080p Full HD delivers a crystal-clear view of your home through your device. The camera captures clear and sharp videos, so you won’t miss out on the slightest detail in view. The 1/3.0-inch CMOS sensor provides maximum lighting through the lens, producing videos with strikingly vivid colours and details. 
• Auto tracker: You can remotely track any object or subject within the SmartCam's view with the auto tracking feature. Just activate the auto tracker on your smartphone or tablet and it will automatically track the closest moving object or subject. And you can keep an eye on your pet or children to make sure they aren't causing trouble when you're away.
• Privacy mode: Monitoring your home every second isn't always necessary to some people. Your home may not need 24-hour monitoring, especially if you are home, therefore, the Privacy Mode was integrated into the camera to give you the space you want. Simply put your camera onto privacy mode, and the camera head will tilt 80° down to hide the lens. Remote viewing and recording abilities will be disabled for the time being.
• Two-way talk: The SmartCam has a built-in mic and speaker to let you hear what is happening in the surroundings of your home through the camera. The Two-Way Talk feature allows you to interact with your family and pets with just a push of a button on your device. So you'll always be connected to your home, even when you're away.
• Motion Zone select: The Motion Zone Select feature detects events in the selected areas chosen by you. You can select up to three motion zones within the camera's field of view. So if your kids are home from school or your pet is running into the kitchen, the SmartCam will detect it and notify you immediately. You'll always have instant access to your home when away and be aware without the constant false alarms.
• Night vision: The SmartCam delivers strikingly sharp and vivid videos with True Day and Night. It adjusts accordingly to the lighting conditions of the camera's location, so everything in view will be clearly visible during the day and night. The IR LED for night vision brings clarity to your home so you can see up to 16 ft. in complete darkness. You can easily check up on your house and children at night without turning the lights on.
• Event information: Event notification keeps you connected to your home through real-time alerts, anytime, anywhere. If the SmartCam detects any unusual activities, it will send you a push and e-mail notification immediately. The event notification will provide real-time feedback of your home at all times.
• Wide dynamic range: The Wide Dynamic Range feature allows the SmartCam to handle an extensive range of lighting conditions in your home. It will easily distinguish a subject in an area of high brightness and low brightness by adjusting accordingly to the conditions to deliver beautifully vivid and detailed videos. Now you can see your child's bright smile in the shadows of your home.
• SD Card & recording options: Unlike other home cameras, the SmartCam offers users the option of recording with local storage. The microSD memory card holds up to 128 GB, so you can go back to watch the moments you cherish most. There are three ways to record onto the SD Card: continuous recording, event recording, and Scheduler. Continuous recording allows you to record without any interruption. But if you want to minimize storage use, you can easily switch from continuous recording to event recording or Scheduler. Event recording lets you record when an event is detected within the camera's view, whereas Scheduler records based on the time set by you. So when you're at work or away, your SmartCam will keep an eye on your home.
