Remote control unit lets you control functions and take calls on iOS or Android devices: The EPH-R52 is supplied with a remote control that lets you take calls on a connected iOS or Android device. Playback and stop can also be controlled with just the touch of a single button, and volume can be precisely adjusted using an analog-style volume controller.

Focussing on audio quality for tight, well-defined bass and crystal-clear highs: The housing of the EPH-R52 Series has been designed with the driver and sound duct in a linear arrangement so that the sound from the driver is delivered directly to the eardrum. Materials with differing levels of hardness—ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) for the front section and polycarbonate ABS for the rear section—have been employed in order to reduce unwanted resonances, which cause muddiness. For precise audio reproduction, Yamaha equipped the series with high-grade earphones, finished the outside of the driver unit with a manganese alloy that ensures excellent damping performance, and designed the housing itself to control vibrations. Moreover, a sound-tuning pipe that controls unnecessary peaks in the high-frequency register is built into the unit. This keeps the bass sounding taut, which makes for more pleasurable listening experience, and reproduces the high register with exceptional clarity so that all of the nuances of the musical instruments can be heard clearly.
Compact housings equipped with an acoustic port that enable rich and clear bass reproduction: The housing design also optimizes flow resistance in the operation of the diaphragm due to the acoustic port, which functions as a vent. The housing enables precise, rounded bass reproduction.
Manganese damping alloy keeps unwanted vibrations under control: The EPH-R52 Series makes use of a special alloy primarily comprised of manganese. The alloy itself absorbs vibrations and keeps the vibration absorption of a broad range of frequencies under control. Since it is a non-magnetic material, it has no effect on the driver magnet and effectively improves vibration damping performance.
Specially designed 8mm (3/8”) driver and diaphragm shaped with a high-precision tangential edge: Yamaha’s newly developed driver unit contains a highly magnetic neodymium magnet. Moreover, the diaphragm is designed with a high-precision tangential edge, and the shape of the edge and surface area of the domed vibrating section are set up to ensure optimal movement of the diaphragm according to the volume level during playback. This allows for compact earphones that can reproduce a wide frequency spectrum while delivering a powerful sound.
Serrated earbuds with superb fit and high sound quality: The earbuds are made of two types of silicon material—one hard and one soft. The sound passage section that uses hard silicon combines flexibility and strength through serration. It retains its shape even when inserted into the ears and fits perfectly to the shape of the ear canal. In addition to creating a comfortable fit, the earbud also prevents deterioration of sound quality due to sound leakage.
Simple design aesthetic with high-quality color finish: The EPH-R52 series is characterized by a simple design decorated only with Yamaha’s distinctive tuning fork logo on the outer flat side of the housings. What’s more, Yamaha’s 2Way Ear Supporter allows the earphones to be worn in two different ways – either with the cord over the ear for a more securely fixed position or in a regular way. The 2Way Ear Supporter is made of a flexible elastomer material, ensuring a snug fit in the ear canal, enabling you to listen to music comfortably and carefree.
Serrated cordless prone to tangling: The surface of the cord is serrated to reduce friction. This not only reduces cord tangling, but it also helps realize high-quality sound through the reduction of friction noise through the cord. Writer's block
Ours is about 3 feet by 3 feet, and on our left is the account's block. The marketing block is down the hall.
We're joking. Obviously.
Ours is at least 5 by 5, and on Wednesdays we're allowed to write in coffee shops to maintain the illusion that we're "successful" and "writerly".
Coming up with a write up for the simple sake of a write up does, however, become difficult when we're staring complete lack of creativity right in the face. But apparently asking management to cancel all the deals for the day isn't a viable fix.
As they so delicately put it, it'd be like a comedian having the option to suddenly cancel a show if they're not feeling up to it. Not on our watch, they said. You'll do a write up whether you like it or not, they said. And be funny, they said.
So here we are, doing a write up and being funny.
