In the very likely event that you didn't click the link, we'll fill you in. All @ProgressBar2017 does is tweet how far 2017 has progressed. We're not sure why we initially thought it might be anything different.

Here's the kicker: that account has over 30 000 Twitter followers, AND YET that number isn't even 10% of the fan base @big_ben_clock boasts.

Yup! @big_ben_clock is a Twitter account that BONGS the relevant number of bongs on the hour. Every hour. And it's nearly half a million followers strong.

The 21st century is weird.
