An aromatic wine, produced in the Stellenbosch region byt the Gabb Family vineyards mainly for export purposes. The Viognier giving off delicate white peach flavours, jasmine perfume, which adds dimension and interest to Chenin’s summer fruit salad base. Fresh and flavourful, the silky texture satisfying enough for drinking on its own, but has enough personality to be confidently matched with lightly spiced dishes.
The blend is composed of 85% Chenin Blanc and 15 % Viognier.
In The Cellar
Grapes were carefully selected and sorted before lightly pressed to preserve the fruit. Clear juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks for 15 days. After fermentation wine were sulphured and left on the lees for 4 months. Components were harvested separate but blended shortly after fermentation.
So it makes sense that we're pretty good at them. But every once in a while we like to show off a bit and crank the discount percentage allllll the way up.
