About

With one of the pre-eminent vine nurseries in the southern hemisphere and 3 different growing regions from which to cultivate their blends, the Bosman Family Vineyards have unrivalled access, knowledge, and expertise when it comes to crafting their wines. A strict selection process in the vineyard and the cellar means that only the top 5% of the total harvest is used for production. While historic vines offer distinct vintages, a thriving vine garden allows for constant innovation and the perfect blend of old and new.

Pinot Noir is the most highly prized wine in the world. It’s not as rich or big as its noble cousins, in fact it’s quite the opposite. Pinot Noir wines are pale in colour, and their flavours are very subtle.

Our De Bos estate takes pride of place in the Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley where our Pinot Noir vineyards are planted. Here, ideal soils, combined with the cooling breezes from the Atlantic Ocean, create wine growing conditions perfect for Pinot Noir.

Palate: Medium to Full-Bodied palate where soft tannins contribute to a fine structure. A balanced wine with a lingering memorable finish.

Food Suggestions

A wine to have on its own or as an aperitif, but pairs well with cured meats, salads and dishes such as seared tuna and roasted game.

Winemaker’s Comments

The cooled grapes were transported to our cellar where after de-stemming, grapes were hand sorted. Regular punch downs and pump overs assured colour extraction. Aged in a third new French Burgundian oak regime for 10 months.

Why do some people leave the microwave on 0:01?

And then just walk away like they haven't committed the biggest atrocity any kitchen has ever seen. They probably also make tea in the order: milk, hot water, sugar and then the tea bag.

It creates the perfect precipice of frustration: keep it bottled in and it'll eat away at you, but if you say something you're the overreacting party-pooper who sucks the fun out of everything.

We realise this might seem a little abstract (for context, somebody did this exact thing at the OneDayOnly headquarters at around 4 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon and it's been bugging us since) but it must be addressed on a grand scale so these perpetrators can understand the extent of their heinous crime.

Anyhoo, here are a truckload of great deals and if that doesn't immediately make you forget about all of your problems in the world, you clearly handle stress differently to us.
