About

With careful and integrated farming methods Bellevue has succeeded in boasting with some of the oldest vineyards in South Africa.

With careful and integrated farming methods Bellevue has succeeded in boasting with some of the oldest vineyards in South Africa with many of the vineyards 40+ years old. This makes for heritage in its own right! Together with the ripe age of the vines and the fact that many blocks are bush vines, the result is lower yields while the vines deliver grapes with a concentration in flavour and pure, elegant fruit characters.

Continuing to follow strict IPW and Wieta guidelines, there is still a long future for Bellevue’s gentle oldies.

Some of the oldest blocks include Cinsaut planted in 1952, Pinotage planted in 1953 and Chenin blanc in 1976.

“Good wine is made in the vineyard”,has been the philosophy regarding wine quality on Bellevue over all the years. With minimum interference in the cellar, the role of the winemaker is to preserve the pure fruit present in the grapes and through careful oak strategy, make wines that are elegant, balanced and uniquely exquisite.

Tasting Notes

In-demand variety shows lovely fruit abundance in 2017 – dark berries & cherries – plus earthy creaminess a & hint of vanilla froa m year in large, older oak.

This medium-bodied wine shows raspberry and strawberry on the pallet. It is followed by a silky tannin structure and a fresh mineral finish.

A beautifully refreshing and fruit-forward Cinsaut dominated by flavours of strawberries and raspberries with an equally approachable, supple tannin structure.

This cinsaut can be enjoyed on its own, or paired with most light meat dishes

24 hours isn't exactly a lot of time

Unless you're Jack Bauer, of course. Which you aren't. He's fictional - and unless artificial intelligence has come a long way in a short space of time, you're very much real.

If you consider yourself a professional procrastinator, 24 hours is barely enough time to read your emails, let alone respond. Especially if you sleep the recommended ten hours a night.

But it's all we give you to capitalise on our great deals.

And you've just wasted five minutes reading this and wondering how to make the simple act of email reading last a full work day.
