The synergistic relationship between these two minerals is well known. This particular combination can also be taken at bedtime to enhance sleep.
Doubling the calcium concentration to the magnesium gives excellent absorbability properties. The minerals are chelated to glycinates for enhanced absorption. Some South African soils are low in magnesium levels and hence the magnesium status of many individuals is low.
