About

Situated in the heart of South Africa's Cape Winelands, Arra Vineyards enjoys an ideal location where we grow, produce, and bottle all our wines. The Klapmuts Mountain provides us with an abundance of water and shelters us from the Cape's south-easterly winds while providing our vines with ideal soils and north facing slopes for ample sunshine.

The 74 ha farm is under 30 ha of vines comprising of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Pinotage, Viognier, Ruby Cabernet, Mourvedre, and Merlot. Using only the finest French oak barrels, our wines are matured for up to 24 months, while being constantly monitored to maintain their deep, fruit flavours, and creamy textures. At Arra Vineyards, we are dedicated to ensuring that our wines reach maturity in the bottle before we release them for sale.

A fantastic and typical Viognier featuring notes of Pear, Stewed peaches, grenadilla, tangerine, geranium, and lemon verbena.

Here at OneDayOnly we pride ourselves on two things:

Our remarkable ability to remember quotes from practically any movie, and our skill in catering to almost any person in South Africa.

The latter is the harder of the two, because A) we haven't met everyone in the R of SA and 2) our personal tastes can hardly be used as a benchmark for things other people may enjoy.

Still, through sheer determination and never-miss-an-episode viewings of Egoli and Generations, we like to think we hit the proverbial nail on the head more often than not.

And in the almost unfathomable event that we're completely wrong and nothing on our cyber-shelves appeals to you, we'd like to leave you with the following gem from Lord of the Rings:

"Use the force, Harry." - Edward Cullen.
