Presented in the week leading up to the Cape Town Cycle Tour and based in the Paarl valley, the race format comprises four race villages over 5 days. The beautiful Boland Landbou Skool, Goudini High, Bridgehouse and the Taal Monument will play host in 2020.  5 stages, 5 days and over 5500m of assent through the Cape Winelands.

Stage 5 finishes at the iconic Taal Monument on the Paarl Mountain.

Product Features

• RIDER CRITERIA
• Participants have to complete a single day road race of at least 90km in length in under 3 hours 30 minutes in the six months leading up to the event to qualify to take part in theTour of Good Hope.
• If you have achieved this qualifying time in an ASG event, you can simply email us with the event in which you rode the time and we will check it in our back-office.
• If you rode this time in an outside event, riders have to email us their time and we will check it with the relevant time keeping company.
• To cater for our mountain-bikers, we will also allow official finishers in South Africa’s top MTB stage races – Absa Cape Epic, Sani2C, Old Mutual Joberg2C, FNB Wines2Whales, Cape Poineer Trek and the Liberty Encounters. If you have finished a similar event either locally or abroad you can send us the details thereof and we will consider.

• DAILY LUNCH

• FULL PACKAGE entries include daily lunches following stages 1, 2, 3 and 4. (No lunch on stage 5)

• FULLY STOCKED WATER POINTS
• All stages of the race feature fully stocked water points with a great range of fuel items to keep you going.
• FIRST AID / RESCUE TEAMS
• First aid and off road rescue teams on route and at start/finish venues.
• * A race doctor will be on site.
• SWEEP VEHICLES
• Sweep vehicles and backup vehicles will be available throughout the tour.
• TECH ZONES
• Tech zones by ASG Tech Station
