Fumba Beach Lodge is a small scale, peaceful hideaway set on one of Zanzibar’s most secluded beaches only 30 minutes from Zanzibar’s capital, Stone Town offering a hidden gem on the southwest coast of Zanzibar away from all the busy tourist areas and the perfect venue to enjoy tranquillity, swim, dive, walk amongst tropical gardens, or have a special romantic occasion in one of the many secluded spots. Fumba Beach Lodge offers several private decks, verandas and little hideaways that ensure a quiet and private environment for the ultimate romantic holiday. 

With only 26 spacious white-washed Zanzibari style rooms compromising of 20 Deluxe rooms, 4 Suites with a rooftop terrace and 2 Baobab suites each built around a huge baobab tree, the essence of Fumba Beach Lodge is privacy, space, relaxation, nature and attention to detail. 

The open-air restaurant is situated around the swimming pool overlooking the beach and serves a tantalising array of expertly prepared dishes including local specialities, the freshest seafood and traditional international cuisine in a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere. The well-trained staff provide a friendly, professional service and take the greatest care to look after all guests, young or old, whatever their tastes.

• Applicable air departure & air passenger taxes.
• Return road transfers to and from Zanzibar International Airport on arrival and departure with an English speaking driver (seat in coach). If required, additional transfers and locations can be arranged at an additional cost.
• 7 Nights / 8 Days en-suite accommodation in chosen room type. Shorter, longer stays available on request.

• If flights have been booked directly, please ensure to check flight details with us before confirming to ensure they correspond with the boat transfer times and tides. A general rule of thumb is that on arrival day, use a morning flight into Maputo and on departure day, use an afternoon flight out of Maputo. Machangulo Beach Lodge boats generally depart the lodge to Maputo mid-morning and return to the lodge just after lunch.

• Please note that the client is solely responsible to ensure that all passports and visas are current, valid, obtained on time, have sufficient blank pages, will be valid for six months after returning to your home country and comply with immigration regulations. Please also note that any unabridged birth certificates, medical certificates, vaccinations, inoculations, prophylactic (e.g. for malaria) and the like, where required, have been obtained beforehand.
• The client is strongly advised to check all the relevant requirements before travelling as while Byva Travel will endeavour to assist the client where possible, such assistance will be at Byva Travel discretion and the client acknowledges that in doing so, Byva Travel is not assuming any obligation or liability and the client indemnifies Byva Travel against any consequences of the client’s failure to comply with any such requirements.
