About

The MT478 is a 2-Pole voltage, continuity and phase tester with rapid LED indication of voltage levels. The backlit LCD display offers the user accurate voltage measurements. The voltage range is from 12V to 1000V AC/DC on LED indication and 6V to 1000V AC/DC on LCD display. When AC/DC Voltage is detected the meter has three ways to indicate the voltage, visual display (LED and LCD), sound and vibration when the load buttons are pressed. The vibration operates similar to traditional solenoid type voltage testers and meets IEC1010-1 CAT IV 600V safety requirements.

The MT478 has a rotary field detection for testing 3-Phase systems as well as a single pole Phase Test. Other features include a built-in flashlight, Continuity Buzzer. Diode Test. High Quality heavy duty molded IP64 case, a thicker cord with wear indicator and well fitted and durable probe protector.

Ideal for Voltage Measurements in Industrial Environments. Press the load button to check Voltage drop under load. Meter vibrates to indicate load is being applied. The Probes hook into the side of meter and the spacing between the tips is exactly the correct distance for measuring Socket Outlets.

Here at OneDayOnly we pride ourselves on two things:

Our remarkable ability to remember quotes from practically any movie, and our skill in catering to almost any person in South Africa.

The latter is the harder of the two, because A) we haven't met everyone in the R of SA and 2) our personal tastes can hardly be used as a benchmark for things other people may enjoy.

Still, through sheer determination and never-miss-an-episode viewings of Egoli and Generations, we like to think we hit the proverbial nail on the head more often than not.

And in the almost unfathomable event that we're completely wrong and nothing on our cyber-shelves appeals to you, we'd like to leave you with the following gem from Lord of the Rings:

"Use the force, Harry." - Edward Cullen.
